My journey into the world of tabletop role-playing games began when I was just nine years old. My older brother, then seventeen, returned home from a sleepover buzzing with excitement after playing Vampire: The Masquerade. He described werewolves tearing through convenience stores and vampires forging blood pacts under neon moons—and my imagination lit up like wildfire. I was already enamored with the sword and sorcery films of the '80s and 90s—Conan the Barbarian, Willow, The NeverEnding Story, The Dark Crystal, and even The Ewok Adventure were well-worn tapes in our home, encouraged by a mother who believed in the power of imagination.
In high school, I found my tribe: a band of misfits who shared my love for fantasy storytelling. We dove deep into homebrew campaigns, and I quickly stepped into the role of Game Master—a role I’ve embraced for over two decades.
Longblade Publishing is the natural evolution of that lifelong passion. Crafting immersive fantasy narratives for others to explore around the table isn't just a hobby; it’s a calling. This is the creative fire that fuels me.
